Have a fun day learning the basics in the exciting world of fusing. Some of the skills covered are basic glass cutting to patterns, COE and glass compatability, levels of fusing (slump to full fuse) and firing schedules. You will be making a simple bowl or plate in the coral bowl style.You choose colour, shape and pattern style. Learn to make pendants or earings with the beauty of dichroic glass. A real treasure to give as a gift, or build your own collection. A predetermined amount of dichroic glass will be provided, but if you would like to make more, there is extra to purchase. No experience needed!

We cover pattern making, simple design rules, cutting glass to patterns, and building your window using lead came. Learn soldering, applying patina and putty. Each participant will complete a simple project to take home. This is a fundamental course that covers basic leading techniques. Basic stained glass skills are required.

This is a fun 1-day class that requires no experience! This course will introduce you to the basic techniques of making mosaics. Participants will learn how to cut glass, using glass cutters and mosaic knippers. There are a variety
of projects to choose from: window mosaicsand picture frames. This is a class that will help you move forward on projects such as vases and other 3-D adventures
Exploring the use of frits and powders to make unique designs. Each design is different
Skill level: Beginner.
Using frit powder and/or small pieces of glass on a glass base to create a unique design. Fuse to a flat or textured surface and can be slumped if desired.
Discover another way of using powders and frits.
Skill level: Beginner to advanced.
This has a similar look to cloisonné. This is a technique that can be incorporated in other fused projects or can be a stand alone process.
Skill level: Cutting experience required, basic fusing is helpful.
Learn techniques of using irrid glass in texture molds, carved designs by sandblasting, as well as effects by capping and part capping. Bring out the jewel tones of the irrids in your designs.
Skill level: Cutting experience required.
Overlaying clears and colours can result in added colours and tones, making a simple design so much more.
2 Day course.
Skill level: Good cuttign skills and basic fusing knowledge.
Day 1 - Explore a few different methods fo setting up and making pattern bars.
Day 2 - Using your pattern bars - slicing and lap work to make usable patterns to fit into your design to complete a glass platter.
