Have a fun day learning the basics in the exciting world of fusing. Some of the skills covered are basic glass cutting to patterns, COE and glass compatability, levels of fusing (slump to full fuse) and firing schedules. You will be making a simple bowl or plate in the coral bowl style.You choose colour, shape and pattern style. Please note that the projects will require 2 firings and will be ready forpickup after 5-7 days
In this class, you will use mostly frits and powders and some cut glass pieces to make a beautiful birch tree landscape glass piece. The piece will be fired to leave texture and some dimensionto keep the detail. This is an all day

This is a 1 day introductory class on the fundamentals of building a lead came window. We cover pattern making, simple design rules, cutting glass to patterns, and building your window using lead came. Learn soldering, applying patina and putty. Each participant will complete a simple project to take home. This is a fundamental course that covers basic leading techniques. Basic stained glass skills are required.

This is a fun 1-day class that requires no experience! This course will introduce you to the basic techniques of making mosaics. Participants will learn how to cut glass, using glass cutters and mosaic knippers. There are a variety
of projects to choose from: window mosaicsand picture frames. This is a class that will help you move forward on projects such as vases and other 3-D adventures
A technique using glass powders in a liquid medium to create pictures and designs. This is for beginner and advanced, with no glass gutting skills required. The end project is fused.

Day 1 - Explore a few different methods fo setting up and making pattern bars.
Day 2 - Using your pattern bars - slicing and lap work to
make usable patterns to fit into your design to complete a glass platter.
